So I just thought I'd update the world. I started dating the girl I've had a crush on since my sophomore year of high school (a little over 3 years ago) and everything is going REALLY well. I mean we've only been dating since August 6th, '08. I see good things in the future though. Wish us luck!!!

Toledo Zoo
So today My Grandma, Mom, Brother (Wesley, 9) and I went to Toledo Zoo, Ohio. We saw quite the variety of animals; Elephants, Rhinos, Snow Leopards, Lions, Tigers and Bears oh my. There's a very humorous sign that read "Coins Kill Ducks" I mean the meaning behind it was horribly sad I mean the fact that people are trying to feed coins to the ducks AND the fact that people would just leave their crap all around the zoo grounds. Everyone at the zoo was incredibly rude, there were countless people shoving into me and several times people would walk right in front of me while I was trying to take a picture. It killed me! All the animals were so depressed looking :( in their small cages
and hot, people tapping on the glass even though there were hundreds of "Do not tap" Signs. As we were leaving a storm started rolling in. Over the loud speaker a man said "there is a severe storm coming into the area please seek shelter at either the Gift shop or one of the enclosed animal shelters such as the aquarium or reptile area". Seeing as we were leaving and were right next to the gift shop we went and looked around. People started coming in panicked and pretty scared looking. So we started wondering what was going on, then over someone's radio someone said "keep everyone away from the windows". After a few more moments a man rushed in and told everyone that we had to go to another building. He lead us outside and into the offices and out the back door where we ran to another building. Once inside this small house sized office area we were all shoved into a small basement. Luckily for me I was able to stay in the office itself as the picture depicts. There was a TV in the room and I was able to watch the storm pass. The kids in the picture were also in the basement when the TV was on the only people in the particular room were a few workers and my family. After the storm let up we were aloud to leave and head out to our hotel. Also on another note heres a quote I found and absolutely love.

Single
So nothing has been happening in my life lately, not at all. I went to the zoo last week. I guess that's something. I'm currently reading Tales From Nowhere by Don George (and other random writers). It's pretty good makes me want to do some traveling.......more than I already want to. I've been putting a lot of stuff up on ebay too. But besides that I've just been sitting back and being single. Can't really seem to find anyone -shrugs- and that, to me, is a shame. Does anyone know anyone?? lol. But seriously I'm tired of being single. Also I REALLY want to travel. I need a nice trustworthy foreign girl, then I could travel to see her. Well that's enough person ranting for tonight. Night.

Home
I got home yesterday afternoon at around 6pm. I was originally going to do my blog then but I decided I was much to tired for that. So now It's story time!
I left Tuesday morning at 6am and drove to Jake's house. He loaded his stuff into the car and we were off. I wasn't quite sure if my car could even make it. Living around 500 miles away from Niagara Falls, New York driving there wasn't completely the best idea for my beat up old car. I mean when I left the "Check Engine" light was already on. We drove straight through the bottom portion of Michigan with no problems. We entered Indiana and left almost as fast as we got there. But then the fun started, we entered Ohio's Toll roads. We estimated getting to Cleveland would cost $6.50 (which is of course what it cost). They have some amazing "Service Plazas" in Ohio, which are just REALLY nice rest areas. We got stuck in a traffic jam in Cleveland due to what we think was an accident. While in the Traffic Jam we decided to play some Bob Marley and other such artist over our radio quite loud. This was the first time during the entire first day it WASN'T raining. After the traffic jam we still had quite a bit of Ohio to traverse. Then we entered Erie County Pennsylvania. We stopped at a rest area collected 5ish bugs, then we were off again. Soon as we left the PA rest area it started raining again. A few hours later we showed up in Buffalo, New York and then Niagara Falls, New York. Our original plan was to speed the night in Fourmile State Park but we changed our mind due to the weather and stayed in the local Hampton Inn.
After making sure we had a room we decided to just view the falls right there and then because the rain stopped and that would mean we could see more the next day. So we went to the falls (see above picture) and what can I say it was amazing. They are huge!! I can't even explain how nice they were in this blog.
Back to something I can explain the Inn. They had a swimming pool!! It was only 5ft at the deepest part. Jake and I were the only people using the pool besides a man and his 10ish year old daughters. The beds were pretty much amazing!! We then, at about 11pm, ordered a pizza it was good but not the best. Then went to sleep.

Graduation Party
Today I had my graduation party it was nice. Not too many people showed up, but they were just the right people. Moon was there and he brought Zoppi, they are very cute. Anyways, I am so tired from setting up, having it, mingling and then cleaning up. That's all for now!!

Thanks
ANOTHER boring day off. Graduating sure did make things boring as hell xD. At least I get to sleep. I usually wake up between 1pm and 3pm then I do nothing all day. I bought a CD set that should teach me Spanish, I hope it works. Kalamazoo Valley Community College screwed up my financial aid stuff so I may very likely be volunteering overseas next year NOT going to college. What ever ends up happening though I'll be in college the fall of '09 NOT in Michigan. Hm there really isn't anything else to say right now so I'll "write" more later.

Boredom
Well nothing interesting happened today. I woke up pretty late about 12-1pm. I sat around and did literally nothing still about 5pm then I went out and picked up the In The Name of Love Africa Celebrates U2 and Living Language Spanish. After all that I went and saw the movie The Strangers. It was pretty good I had a few jumps. That's all I have to say today -shrugs-.

Just Causes (Week 1 Invisible Children)
So I've been studying up on Invisible Children and I was going to buy this shirt. First off I love the store at Invisible Children, they have some great stuff. The bracelets are pretty kick ass. Not to mention they all go towards a good cause! I totally suggest going here to their store and picking up the DVD and some awesome gear! I personally can't wait for my gear/DVD. Like I said before the stuff is great and the cause is greater.
The Day After
So last night I graduated! Cool 'eh? Like I said my mom was able to attend that was a nice surprise. Right after graduation Jacob and I went to D&W (grocery store) to get some Sobe/Monster Energy drinks and some donuts. On the way back from D&W in all of my excitement I had forgotten to turn my head lights on. I got pulled over. The cop asked the normal questions and flash lighted my eyes to make sure I was wearing contacts. Then we were let go, no ticket no this is your warning or anything. :D Well here's a picture of me with my diploma.
Also I'm starting a "Picture a Day" Starting RIGHT NOW. If you want to see the experiment on the year long journey go HERE.

Mother
Well I have a little bit of time so I thought I would tell you all my mom is home. It's weird because we are acting like we saw each other just yesterday. The worst part is she'd rather be out with Randy (her boyfriend) but whatever. She looks pretty sick (in a unhealthy way) her hair is all stringy and thinning, her face is all old and wrinkly. Well that's all I have to say right now. Till next time adios.
Count Down
So here I am at 12:12pm waiting for several things. My mom should be getting here soon, well she gets out of jail at noon and then my grandma is going to take her to get some nicer clothes for graduation. I have to be out the door to get to graduation at 5pm I have to go pick up Jacob so that we can get to Shaw and go through all that senior pre-graduation graduation stuff. Then after graduation we have to boot it back to Portage Northern High so that we can go to Grad Bash I really hope that's not as fucking lame as some people say it is. But once again we will see. I'm still pretty tired and I have to stay up all night so I'm probably going to get some energy drink(s) before graduation but then I'll be all jittery :/ dang. So hmmmmm I also wonder what I should eat for lunch lol. Well I don't really have much else to say so while you wait for me to get back go look at this:
They NEED help so don't be shy!!!

Family
So today I got the news my grandfather is NOT attending my graduation. I also go the information yesterday afternoon that my mom is getting out of jail for the day so she can see me graduate. She is currently in jail because of drinking and driving count 3. I have a very small family: My father died when I was 3 (lucky number huh?), the Hough side of the family doesn't talk to me, my mom's in jail, my grandmother and grandfather are divorced, I live with my grandmother, my grandmother's side of the family doesn't talk to us, my grandpa's side of the family doesn't talk to me, my uncle disappeared, etc. Crazy.
So tomorrow I graduate, I have to be at Shaw Auditorium at 6pm (eastern [usa]). That should be exciting, SHOULD be. After that we go to "Grad. Bash" I think i'm more interested in that than the actual graduation. My suit is blue shirt with blue brown tie, School colors are brown and white.
So no one told me what to blog about but one person did ask me where I am from I thought I would answer this more in depth because I can lol.
I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America, I lived there for 3-4 months then moved to Portage, Michigan, USA. My mother and I lived with my grandma till was 5 then we moved to Gull Lake, Michigan, USA. We lived there till I was 7 when we moved to Galesburg, Michigan, USA. We lived there till I was 15 (8th grade) when we moved to Carmel, Indiana, USA. We lived there for half a year and moved back to Portage, Michigan, USA. I am graduating High School from Portage Northern High. Hope that answered the question!!

First Day of Life??
So today was my first day NOT at a High Schooler even though technically I don't graduate till May 30th. Anyways so I'm suppose to be on the phone with The Art Institute of Schaumburg but they have not yet called 13 minutes late so far. But they are really expensive and I doubt I could pay for it, around 21k a year just for classes that's not counting the housing. (15 mins late) Today I woke up at 7:38pm which sucks because I really wanted to sleep in.
Just got my call. I'm not going.
Also I just mowed the front lawn xD.
Anyways back to what I was saying I went to Fort Custer today, caught more bugs and what not good times. Welp I'm done for now maybe i'll add more tonight.

Farewell Sweet Memories
So today was my last day of high school (Portage Northern High) what a bittersweet feeling that is. In one hand you have the joy and of knowing you can sleep in and the joy that life is starting but on the other hand the sadness of leaving my much beloved teachers (Mr. Moon & Mrs. Poulsen). They have become a major part of my life in the last 3 years but now I won't be seeing them on a daily basis. Things will be good though.
If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do my next blog about feel free to tell me!

First Blogger Blog
So this is my first Blogger blog, back in my sophomore year I use to have a Live Journal but I never used it. I don't really know how to start this so I guess I'll just list the things that have happened today then I'll update with more important stuff every once and awhile. So here goes nothing.
* I found a place to sell/buy/trade insects even though the only reason I like that is because I have some extras.
* I watched Juno & The Mummy
* Was bored as hell!!
